Halloween 2009.

We were down in Utah for Halloween to see this sweet niece of mine get baptized...





The kids played with their cousins all day long. Then it was time for the trick or treatin'. This year we had nerds, angels, a skeleton pirate and tinkerbell...not to mention a monk and a pregnant nun. Good times, good times.

What's on my mind lately?

All things baby. I am in the final stretch now. Only five weeks left, and furiously trying to come up with the perfect name for this little guy.

Autumn Days.

Although I am not a huge fan of the colder weather, I absolutely love the colors of fall. Beautiful! We have a tree in our front yard that seems to have an endless supply of leaves, which supplies my little ones with endless amounts of fun.

Rise and shout!

This last weekend we went down to visit my sister and her family. While we were there we took the kids to a BYU game. J could harldy believe that we were going to a "real live cougar game" and as we were walking down to the stadium they all kept saying "this is awesome"!

Yes kids, it is. Totally awesome.

Little Miss S.

I babysat my friends 6 month old this last week. I couldn't put her down without my two year old trying to attack her. She was obsessed with baby K, to say the least, which was cute for the first little bit, but then it sent me into panic mode. I really hope the novelty of a new baby wears off quickly, otherwise we are going to be in big trouble.

This little girl has been giving me a run for my money lately. Usually I can handle her energetic self fairly well, however this week seems to be an exception. It could be that my patience is wearing thin, but it's as if she can sense that her world's about to get rocked in a couple of months. She refuses to take her naps (I refuse to let her stop taking them), she all of a sudden has been waking up in the middle of the night, she's extra clingy, she goes around the house on a mission to destroy, she laughs in the face of discipline...the girl is wearing me out! I know my sweet little girl is under there somewhere. Hopefully it is nothing that a little extra TLC can't remedy.

Snippets of Summer.

The first day of school arrived and with it came all the frenzy of getting kids where they needed to be, when they needed to be there...



...After two weeks, I am still exhausted. It leaves me wishing our carefree summer days hadn't come and gone so quickly.






















I miss you already, summer...until next year!
